Introduction
The client only had a link to a map. No structure. No communication. No conversion points.
MY role
Product Designer (UX/UI) & Web Developer
Main goals
Built and launched the website independently using Wix
turn a static map into a clear, conversion-focused product
guide users from first interest to booking a house viewing
build trust through transparency and real product evidence
transform complex information into an intuitive decision-making experience
Methods
UX & market research (competitor and concept analysis) / UX structure and wireframing / Visual design focused on conversion and trust / Website implementation and layout using Wix
Stage 1
Research, Not Design
Before designing anything, I focused on research:
Cottage towns in the Kyiv region
Strong concepts used by competitors
Weak points in their UX
How the user journey looks from «interesting» to «I want to see it»
Instead of drawing inspiration from visually attractive websites, I analyzed what actually converts.

UX: A Structure That Leads to Action
My task wasn’t just to organize content, but to design a scenario where the user naturally comes to the decision to book a viewing.
That’s why I:
Built the structure around one primary action
Moved the key benefits to the second screen to avoid losing the crucial first 6 seconds of attention
Created wireframes with a clear journey:
interest → trust → understanding → choice → action
Worked closely with a copywriter, refining every microcopy element together
Here, design is not about visuals — it’s about user behavior.
Stage 3. Design Development
Feature 1
First Screen: Strong Offer + Scarcity = Higher Conversions
On the first screen, I deliberately placed two strong triggers that are easy to scan and instantly build interest.
Geographic advantage
«10 minutes from Kyiv» is the strongest argument for this audience. I brought it into the main headline so users immediately understand: this is not just a cottage town — it’s city accessibility.
Social proof through scarcity
I added a card: «75 out of 150 houses left.» This creates urgency: «If I want to see it, I need to act now.»
Results:
Users clicked «view house» more often
More traffic to the catalog
Increased trust: «People are actively buying here — this is a popular option»

Stage 3. Design Development
Feature 2
Visualization as Proof of Construction Quality
Balaton Village has a strong competitive advantage: construction technology and quality that truly set it apart.
What I did:
I displayed key construction elements directly on real photos of the houses instead of listing them as text bullets.
Why it works:
Users see a real house, not abstract materials
Benefits feel tangible, not like marketing claims
Trust increases — the developer doesn’t hide the process
The emotion shifts to: «This is high quality — I can see it with my own eyes.»
We build the way we would build for ourselves — and we show it openly.
Stage 3. Design Development
Feature 3
An Interactive Master Plan Without a Development Budget
The client wanted an interactive map where users could see on click:
House type
Number of available units
Area and number of rooms
A link to the house page
The problem:
There was no up-to-date aerial photography — only drawings.
There was also no budget for custom development.
My solution:
Rebuilt the map visually in Photoshop (full redesign)
Created interactivity using a website builder
Added bullet points and content cards
Delivered the full functionality in 3–4 days
This is a case where product design means finding a way where it seems impossible.
Stage 3. Design Development
Feature 4
Live Construction: Transparency That Converts
I suggested adding an «Online Construction» button to the homepage — allowing users to watch houses being built in real time.

Results:
Average time on page increased to ~4 minutes
A sharp rise in clicks to this section
More users reached the contact block
We turned a static page into a dynamic, live experience.
(Currently, due to power outages, this feature is temporarily removed from the live site, but it can be shown in the visuals.)

Key Results
What the Business Sees
In this project, I focused on transforming chaotic information into a clear, logical, and persuasive page that actually drives results.
Increased time on page
(up to 4 minutes)
Increased navigation to house listings
More qualified and interested leads
Higher engagement with the «Online Construction» section
The product stopped being just a «visual showcase» and became a real decision-making tool
I built a strong information structure, reinforced key value propositions, visualized technical advantages on a real house, added an interactive master plan, and introduced an online construction feature that significantly increased user engagement.
Result
This case shows how well-structured content, thoughtful logic, and relevant features can completely change how a product is perceived.
Final Outcome
the page became informative, dynamic, and easy to use
users spent more time on the site and navigated to house listings more often
the business gained a tool that communicates the value of the residential complex clearly and honestly
